I hired Richard last year to paint my parents home to prepare for the estate sale. This was not an easy task as it had not been painted for over 30 years and lived in for 60. I was so impressed with his work, I hired him to work at my home including relaying a patio, painting a shed, repairing a fence and replacing a gate. Inside the house he painted after he repaired walls and installed hardwood flooring. I highly recommend his services and will continue to use his services when required.

This summer I had the interior of our house painted by Richard Furnell. I found him not only very knowledgeable about his trade but unique in using spray painting indoors. I have never experienced this method of painting before. The results, however, were exceptionally good.
Our house is over 100 years old and over the years many renovations and improvements took place. The last one was the replacement of the knob and tube wiring. This resulted in considerable damage to the walls and ceilings. In preparation for the painting, Richard restored all the damage to its pristine condition and refinished all the paneling and woodwork.
He also helped me with other repairs around the house. All in all, Richard is not only an excellent painter but also a great handyman, very knowledgeable and well equipped, for any work around the house. I was very pleased with Richard’s work and would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with work in their home.
